BOODEAUX vineyards was planted in 1997 in the Capell region of Napa. Capell is a narrow valley just a few hundred yards wide at seven hundered feet altitude. The soil is a clay loam and the region is hot, generally over ninety five degrees in the vineyard. The micro climate is perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
The vines are clone 337, grafted to 1103P rootstock and cane pruned. Great care goes into pruning, so each vine is balanced to it's individual capacity. BOODEAUX vineyards has twenty seven hundered vines and averages two and one half tons per acre. The quality of this Napa valley hand made wine speaks for it's self.
"It all starts with the grapes, to make great wine you have to start with the hightest quality grapes. Boodeaux Vineyards is pruned to the exacting specifications of Dr. Steve Krebs of Napa Valley college viticulture Department." - Scott Becker
