Pritchard Hill is located within the Vaca Mountains on the east side of Napa Valley, above Oakville, at 1000 - 1500 ft. elevation. The hillside soils that produce the fine grapes for Cloud View wine are complex, heterogeneous, rocky red clay loam. Slopes around Pritchard Hill get more sun, more wind, and less rain and fog than the Valley floor. Wineries and vineyards on and near Pritchard Hill include Bryant Family, Chappellet, Colgin, David Arthur, Harrison, Long, and Martin.
