Dehlinger Winery [DAY-leen-ger] russian river ava winery that was started by Tom Dehlinger in 1976. It's become a highly regarded producer of chardonnay and pinot noir wines, both of which are noted for their rich, complex styles. This winery annually produces 8,000 to 9,000 cases of wine (all estate bottled) from its 50-acre vineyard. Smaller amounts of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot are also planted. Tiny lots of Cabernet Franc and Merlot varietal wines are usually made, with the remainder of these two varieties going into Dehlinger's Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
